Police swoop on Gold Coast massage parlours suspected of offering sex
POLICE have raided seven massage parlours believed to be fronts for illegal prostitution across the Gold Coast.
Officers from the Drug and Serious Crime Group, Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol, the Prostitution Taskforce and Australian Border Force raided massage parlours in Nerang, Southport, Mermaid Beach, Burleigh Waters and Mudgeeraba on Wednesday.
Police vision shows a client laying seemingly naked on a table and a massage therapist with her pants down when cops busted into one parlour.
Detective Inspector Lance Vercoe said the raids had been on the cards for some time, with police amassing a large amount of intelligence and evidence to conduct the raids.
